EMT Class Information

Yellow Ambulance is seeking candidates that are interested in becoming Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! We provide state-of-the-art training to prepare you for a successful and rewarding medical career. We are now forming classes for our EMT program.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is often the first responder at the scene of sudden illness or emergency and sometimes encounters situations which may be life threatening. EMT is responsible for the transport and care of medically ill and traumatically injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Class Information:

• Our next class will begin on January 16, 2012
• The Classes run for approximately 6 weeks.
• EMT classes are a FT Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (attendance is mandatory).
• The class is FREE and we DO NOT PAY for you to attend the class.
• There is a materials fee of $100.00, due before the class starts.
• You have to go through a screening process and only the top 40-50 candidates will make it into the class.
• You must meet the minimum requirements by the state.

EMT Student Requirements:  

• Must have a caring attitude towards people.
• 18 years old required by the state.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Complete all training requirements.
