CARE Ambulance is currently seeking a Dispatch Manager

Job Summary: The Dispatch Manager is responsible for directing the daily operations of the Ambulance Dispatch Department ensuring operational efficiency and on time performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage daily dispatch operations
Manage on-time performance of ambulance runs
Assure department is delivering high level of customer service and handle complaints
Manage communications equipment and PCs
Perform random telephone audit review
Prepare bi-weekly payroll edits and associated paperwork
Prepare bi-weekly schedule for employees
Record attendance points for street crews and dispatch
Handle employee discipline within department
Interview potential dispatch candidates
Assist in operations as needed
Perform duties of EMT as needed
Qualification Requirements:
Associates Degree
IT knowledge / background / experience preferred
EMT certification helpful
1 year+ experience in EMS field
2 years + in supervisory role
Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) helpful
Great verbal and written communication skills
Ability to make decisions quickly
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Strong customer service skills
